The Facility
From valve bench to loading dock
Follow a system through the building in four stations: valves staged and assembled, tanks filled with media, designs proven in the live-water testing lab, and finished units packed for the dealer network.
Station 1
Valve assembly
Every softener, combo and carbon filter starts at the valve bench. Metered control valves are staged in rows with their power supplies, then built up and fitted to the tank by hand. Aquonyx standardizes on one serviceable valve platform across the line, so a technician who has worked on one Aquonyx system has worked on all of them.
That choice is made for the dealer, not the factory. A single valve family means one set of parts to stock, one programming routine to learn, and a system that is still serviceable years after the install.
Station 2
Media fill
At the fill station each mineral tank is loaded over a gravel underbedding with its measured bed of media: ion-exchange resin for the Diamond Soft softeners, coconut-shell or catalytic carbon for the Black Diamond filters, and resin over carbon for The Diamond combo.
The quantity is set by the model, not eyeballed — a 45,000-grain softener gets 1.5 cubic feet of resin, a 1.0 cubic foot carbon filter gets exactly that. The tank is then jacketed, capped and labeled before it moves to the next station.
Station 3
Live water testing
The in-house lab is plumbed with live water lines, and systems run on them — softeners with brine tanks, carbon filters and reverse osmosis units — rather than being checked dry on a bench. Designs are proven here before they are released to the dealer network.
The same lab doubles as the technical support desk. When a dealer calls about a valve or a system, the person answering has the same hardware within reach and works through the troubleshooting live.
Station 4
Dealer-ready packing
Finished systems are wrapped, boxed and labeled for dealer shipment, then roll down the packing line to the finished-goods warehouse. Each boxed system ships with its tails and bypass and a homeowner manual.
Dealer orders ship from stock, aisle by aisle, so an approved dealer’s opening pallet and reorders come from inventory that is already built and tested in this building.
